FLVS is a non-profit association under the 1901 law, recognized as being of general interest since 1991, with the objective of supporting local and regional authorities in the implementation of public health actions. FLVS manages the VIF® (Living in Shape) program, which operates on three axes: conducting scientific studies, promoting health among populations, and providing continuous training for health professionals, educators, and local actors in cities or Public Establishments for Intercommunal Cooperation (EPCI).
Supported by the Roquette Foundation for Health since 2018, the VIF® program has been active for 30 years in local communities to combat childhood obesity. Historically, its actions have been primarily aimed at children aged 6-11.
“Living in Shape” from an early age will strengthen the VIF® program by creating tools and actions for children ages 0-5, to better prepare them for primary school, particularly in terms of nutrition for better health.
