Because food starts in the field, the Roquette Foundation is expanding its work and adding a fourth area of support to promote more sustainable and resilient agricultural systems. By promoting agroecology, the Roquette Foundation is committed to healthier, fairer, and more responsible food. Supporting innovative and responsible agricultural projects means committing to food that respects both the planet and people.

To adopt the right habits of a healthier nutrition, it is essential to be able to choose what we eat. Faced with inequalities in access to food, whether in France, India, or Brazil, the Roquette Foundation encourages and supports project leaders who work with the most vulnerable to enable them to access quality, diverse food that meets their nutritional needs.

Because we know that good health starts with what’s on our plate, the risk of developing numerous diseases could be reduced by following certain nutrition recommendations. Based on multiple scientific studies, these recommendations evolve with the acquisition of new knowledge. The Roquette Foundation encourages research, whether it be fundamental, clinical, or in the social sciences and humanities, to prevent, cure, avoid the spread of diseases, and contribute to the good health of women and men worldwide.

5 fruits and vegetables a day, less sugar, less fat… even though everyone knows what’s good for health, how can we change our habits? Convinced of the need to find a nutritional balance combining pleasure and health, the Roquette Foundation encourages initiatives and supports project leaders, knowledge brokers, who work with populations. They contribute to changing their habits and adopting healthy behaviors in a sustainable way.
