Founded in 2020, SIMEC (Sustainable Irrigation Management Engineers Cooperation) is an NGO focused on agriculture, promoting irrigation systems and environmental conservation.
The MoneyMaker Pumps project in Rwanda aims to improve the living conditions of smallholder farmers by providing them with affordable manual pumps. This makes it easier to irrigate their plots, reduces the difficulty of transporting water, and offers a simple alternative to costly irrigation systems. Up to 23 pumps can be distributed, directly benefiting 35 cooperative farmers and 140 members of their families. The goal is to strengthen local agricultural resilience and productivity.
