Pour un Sourire d’Enfant is a French NGO founded in March 1996. Its mission is to lift children out of extreme poverty in Cambodia and guide them toward a qualified, dignified, and fairly paid profession. The organization works holistically, addressing children’s essential needs: food, healthcare, education, and vocational training.
In the organization’s remedial schools, 700 children receive two meals per day—sometimes the only meals they have. The association’s food program ensures that hunger is not a barrier to learning. The objective is to provide varied and nutritionally rich meals while preventing food waste through accurate meal forecasting and educating children about the value of food. This dual approach combines nutritional efficiency and educational outreach.
