SOLAAL (Solidarité des producteurs agricoles et des filières alimentaires) is a French association created in 2013. Its mission is to facilitate and organize food donations from agricultural and agri-food sectors to food aid associations, while fighting food waste. The organization aims to provide fresh, high-quality products to those most in need.
SOLAAL organizes awareness events focused on combating food waste. These include on-site “anti-waste” meetups, cooking workshops, and corporate teambuilding initiatives.
The project aims to expand these initiatives in order to reach a broader audience from the general public and professionals in the agricultural and food sectors to company employees. The donations collected will help finance and scale up these awareness-raising actions across the country.
