The Charles Nicolle Normandy Foundation is the only foundation recognized as being of public utility in the field of health in Normandy. It directly supports the Rouen University Hospital (CHU) by aiding in the acquisition of innovative equipment and research. The foundation supports medical research, including Inserm units, undertakes prevention actions, and provides training for healthcare professionals. It also contributes to improving patient care and the quality of life at work for healthcare professionals.
The NutriActis® project addresses a public health emergency in France, where more than one in two people are affected by obesity or Eating Disorders (ED). By facilitating self-screening and providing scientifically validated and simplified information and support, the NutriActis platform aims to reduce associated risks and offer assistance for these conditions.
How?
The NutriActis platform is developed through a collaborative approach involving public health experts, nutritionists, and researchers. It enables users to self-screen for ED and obesity, thereby facilitating early intervention. The information provided on the platform is scientifically validated and simplified to be accessible to everyone. Additionally, the NutriActis platform offers tools and resources to support individuals affected by these conditions. To optimize the existing platform, ongoing developments in IT are in progress, along with a clinical investigation aimed at proving its efficacy and safety. The ultimate goal is to obtain Class 1 medical device certification, including CE marking.
