Founded in 1979, the association Enfance & Vie works to ensure that children in disadvantaged countries have access to decent living conditions; it provides urgent and direct assistance to children in distress around the world (for example, by providing food aid), while also supporting sustainable initiatives such as training.
The project aims to improve the nutrition and health of disadvantaged children attending the École de Jour in Antsirabe, Madagascar, which has been supported by Enfance & Vie for over 20 years. Each year, around 100 children receive an education, daily meals supplemented with spirulina—a microalgae essential for combating malnutrition—and a snack, protecting them from child labor and begging.
