Annamrita Foundation is an Indian NGO founded in 2004. Its mission is to provide nutritious meals to the most underprivileged, with the belief that food can be a driver of social transformation. The foundation operates in schools, hospitals, and crisis-affected areas.
Annamrita aims to make a tangible difference in society through the meals it provides via various donation programs. During COVID-19 crisis, initiatives like Operation Karuna and the “Kits of Joy” were implemented, delivering healthy and balanced food in the form of dry rations and provisions to children. In just over a year, more than 8,000 meals were distributed to those most in need.
