Impact Farming Foundation

Founded in 2014, the Impact Farming Foundation works with smallholder farmers to promote small-scale business solutions that integrate sustainable food production, increased tree cover, and self-financed community development.

The project

The Haiti Regenerative Agriculture project by the Smallholder Farmers Alliance (SFA), supported by Impact Farming, aims to create a sustainable food system in Haiti by promoting regenerative agricultural practices. It is based on agroecology, crop diversity, local knowledge, and gender equality to empower rural communities.

To support farmers, the Impact Farming Foundation provides seeds, tools, and technical training to improve their harvests and ensure the long-term sustainability of their livelihoods. As of January 2025, 10% of SFA farms were applying these practices, and 5% were fully committed.
